not enough storage space :( cannot transfer app to SD card :(

Ya... I used foldermount to move the big app data to SD card.
Dunno why manufacturer still offer 8GB, when I can get Samsung UHS1 (read: 40mbps, write 17mbps. about same as the internal speed of the xiaomi) micro sd 32GB at $20 only....

I read about using the sd card as the main memory, but decided not go through with it... seems not very stable.

Hi, just got my xiaomi note yesterday, version is 25. 2 questions:

1) I would have to download or wait for the OTA to update to v30?

2) Realised that the phone has only 5gb left when it comes? Is this normal? Cheers

My suggestion is don't update to v30. This version is not very stable.. unless you really need the function to use sd card storage for photo, music, video.

Either stay with the default v25 or update to the stable v29 via ota. There may be reason why xiaomi still using v25 as default..

Just updated to miui-jhdcnbf 30.0.

Anybody experience having problem using play store after updated to 30.0? I can only use market to download app now and many apps in market are not updated!

Can't use YouTube too.

Anybody can help?

Using market download the Google installer.
Use the google installer download the
1) Google play services
2) Google play store
3) uninstall all the existing Google apps inside the phone after flash, eg. YouTube, gmail, Google search, map...etc.
4) reinstall the one u uninstall in no.3. Or reinstall the one u need.

I tried two phones already. Both running fine till today.

Hi

The market download you are referring to is the "Android Market" app?

Cheers!

I faced an issue with V36...after update, my phone will not auto switch to wifi or to 3G. If its on Wifi, once wifi is out of range, I need to manually get it to connect to 3G and vice versa...reverting back to V30
