Anyone using 3G malaysia sim card in note GSM slot? Have tried it but unable to access data connection when in malaysia. Signal bars is present with a symbol R. Anybody can advice me...

The gsm slot is 2g and its doesn't have 3G data support. What you are accessing is the 3G card in the 3G slot so it means you are surfing using the SG SIM card.

Put the Msia 3G card in the 3G slot.
That's the first slot on the left.

Yes, it work when is on the 3G slot. So meaning the 2G slot only meant for calling? As what I understand, 3G sim will still wk in a 2G phone. Only its on 2G network

My note can have up to 6 hours onscreen time and up to 2 days usage. Battery life is impressive..

Any special things to take note? Cause mine only about 4 hours plus

Depends on usage. 4hrs+ is normal if you're outside all the time on 3g.

Ya... I used foldermount to move the big app data to SD card.
Dunno why manufacturer still offer 8GB, when I can get Samsung UHS1 (read: 40mbps, write 17mbps. about same as the internal speed of the xiaomi) micro sd 32GB at $20 only....

I read about using the sd card as the main memory, but decided not go through with it... seems not very stable.

Official is support up to 32GB but xiaomi phone able to detect 64GB card. Just need to format to FAT32 before use

Hi all, anyone having problems with xiao mi note in other countries?. Presently in Germany now n bot a Tmobile prepaid data card. Can't get on to the internet at all. The message says that internet browser is restricted from using data networks. Anyone having this problem? Any setting to get around this problem? Thanks in advance.

did u set up the proper data settings? enable data roaming?

Yup setting done for data connection as well as data roaming enabled. Went to Tmobile shop n the guy said that it's not phone problem but Tmobile network that restricts mui os cos they do not sell such phones here. He also said that another customer with oppo phone also hv same problems... Haha guess got to wait for xiao mi to flood Europe markets.
