I am just glad that someone has sounded out about the fakes. At least I am not the only person who kena carrot like a fool.

My authentic Redmi is now on its way to me! Yaay!!

If people can invest and make a fake phone. They can also make the HW report to what ever program you run to looks real.

This remind me the Intel 486 CPU days. Many motherboard made with fake cache IC chip and the BIOS and those program you run still report cache is installed !!

Don't be so childish to believe these program. They basically pick information reported from hardware or firmware.

Got 2 pairs of earphones to accompany my Hongmi that arrived yesterday. It was the batch with the PayPal issues. Glad it arrived eventually. So happy with its overall performance. Google apps comes preinstalled and immediately upgraded to the latest Rom.

2 of my order for pistons shipped by Fedex with tracking number. My redmi order shows shipped (not shipping) without tracking info update. I've emailed customer service. Waiting for their reply.

Update: just received reply - going to be shipped. guess it means still with Xiaomi Shenzhen
