Unless you thoroughly mop the floor, it will take a multiple mop runs before the floor can be at an acceptable level.
The cloth will smell, that normal since it is a cloth.

Actually in my definition is these robot wipe the floor instead mop to be more precise. LoL.

From what you explain, it’s probably the same current bug of Viomi V2. It’s published in Viomi facebook. They limit the high burst water discharge to 4 hours cumulative. Viomi firmware next release will fix this and also the mopping path bug.

before that,it's very wet as previous customers complain hydra s7 aqua planning...
u want very wet right...just reboot first then start mopping...

The reason the mop is at the back of the vacuum Is to clean the debris then the mop comes in, so 2-in-1.
In situation where home has carpet or floor mat, then you have draw a no mop zone around and you will need to perform vacuum without mop tray separately. S5 Max and Ecovacs mopping are activated by the trap magnet on the mop tray and not the tank.

Some user may only come home and insert mop because they are limited by the time the cloth can stay on the machine per day before it smells. But there is a diy way to overcome it.

The S6MV uses the same accessory as S5 Max, T7. It is basically the S5 Max body added a front camera. T7 Pro is S6MV equivalent.

Do you set your robot to vacuum and mop at the same time? Or do you vacuum first then mop?

I have always vacuumed first then mop. S5 and earlier models had this instruction. Don’t know about later models. But many of my friends just do both at the same time.

If your floor has lots of dust, fur etc, it’s best to vacuum first. Otherwise, it’s probably fine to do both at the same time.

haha before tat the boss told me bcuz i put detergent and dettol so spoilt ..he gave me a new 1..same thing happen...he gave me another water tank,same thing happen...gave me another tank again..total he gave me 3 tank and i gt total 4 water tank on hand now...
very nice boss haha...
so i just forget it...Continue to put detergent and use the cheat code to unlock.
he told me that he had checked with his software engineer side and will update the firmware on april 26.
till now still no update.
as what u mention the bug of viomi v2 is still not settle,i guess his firmware update is really using viomi side...
other than this part,hydra s7 really work well and service really good good from the merchant...

The air pump method is rather immune to detergent. Interesting, their support don’t know how to test the water tank as standalone is rather surprising.

I still don’t recommend this model design since it is littered with bugs historically and too much guessing work with air pump, heat and environmental pressure. I hope Viomi would sense up and replace the air pump with a water pump. Even the simpler cheaper models are using water pump already.

S6 max V is very nice. But this model cannot link to mi home. Too new?

Roborock has no vacuum only mode function. Mopping is disabled by removing the mop plate, not the tank. A magnet on the mop plate that activate mopping.
When you press the start button on the vac body, it will start or stop clean.
Mihome does not have S6MV added yet, so you should start with Roborock app, to keep the firmware up, then do the needed virtual barrier and no mop zone. Set the room and vac power, wetness per room if needed. Once saved, these setting will always be there regardless start by app or button.
