Hi guys, I intend to change to a new phone early next month which is november. My shortlist are Xperia Acro S, Xperia ion and Optimus 4X. Any suggestion? Does the headphone flap on the Acro S easily spoilt or inconvenient in everyday use?

Just wait for the Xperia T/TX or V. They uses the latest generation of processors. They will be released by the end of the year. :)

But the price is a point of consideration also leh, how much do you guys think the Xperia T/TX or V will cost once it hit the local markets?

Its fair to say 700+ at release, but do not rely on the prices of the official retailers. Usually official retailers sell at higher prices compared to certain phone shops.

If you are looking at acro s, you can check out V for its water-resist qualities, LTE, bravia 2, clear audio+ and docking without need to remove any caps.

Go for acro s. It is better than xs for its water-resist qualities and better buttons. Also, sony software is generally more stable than competitors.

I dont know what your friends are saying, myself now usinf both xs and gs2. Design aside, sony is still performing better in real life.

No problem for sony, they will only downsize when times are bad. They will not close down. Go google sony and you know they are doing big businesses in many industries.

For sp, its usually hard to find in local. You have to rely on online stores or official retailers.

I remember one user reported dataflex custom made sp is not good. Not sure about the jcube one though.

You can get the SP Amazon JP, which is where I got mine. You can search for Acro HD, which is jap version of Acro S.

Amazon.co.jp: Acro HD SP

Or you can just get a case (if you don't mind the extra hole) that comes with a free SP. :D
