Zelensky should accept Russia offer which is very simple, fair and democratic.

That is to hold free and fair referendum in east Ukraine under international monitor so that the people that can cast their votes to decide whether they wish to remain in Ukraine, become independent or be part of Russia. Their wish should be followed.

it's pointless for Ukraine to sacrifice so much fighting over a piece land where the people living there do not want to associate with her.


Even those Chinese wumao zombies also support the east Ukrainians right for independence. Zelensky should be smarter than those wumaos.

The problem is Putin wont allow hold free and fair referendum in east Ukraine under international monitor. This is what happen in Crimean in 2014..

Depending on the definition of winning. If Ukraine's aim is to bleed n delayed Russian advance enough to force an negotiation more favorable to them. Then Ukraine is more successful here. Hence the so called winning. Russia also wants a quick end to the war, recalled the troops and focus on getting Russia economy back to shape. Else he may have an uprising on his end. Although he can suppressed it for sometime using force too until the general public takes to the streets and demand for him to step down.

I am not a putin sympathisier, but they will NEVER rid Russians. After the war, they will still be neighbours with Russia. There will still be a big minority of Russians in Ukraine.

Its not like Afgan or Vietnam. US withdraw, end of story liao.

In the end, they will have to find the best way to represent the interest of their people. Right now, it is to save lives. Limit unnecessary bloodshed.

im aware of that. In that case, Putin even should allow a fair election supervised by UN since he is confident of the outcome. Anyway, this is not right to steal Crimea away from Ukraine.

the rest of the world and especially Biden just praying that Russia will win outright so they can slowly stepdown from their sanctions.... Ukraine was never going to be accepted into NATO, they (Ukraine) was just made used of to poke the Russian bear....they were lied to, courted and charmed by the world leaders but when it come to the real deal, all just step back and prayed (for a quick Russian victory so they dont need to step in)

Zelensky really have no other option...he cannot give up now when he have asked so many to fight (he is slowly realizing the rest of the world dont care....even after goating them, he is simply ignored..US even outright stated in public they don not want any open conflict between NATO and Russia). He also cannot fight for much longer...they only 'option' is to slowly crumple (more ppl dying with obvious signs that NOBODY is coming to help) and surrender to the Russians. Its very sad but nothing new for the rest of the world that is used to wars started in the US in the Middle East, Israel ongoing conflict with Palestine ..very sad the rest of the world is sort of immune to it.
