Yes totally agreed with orlengtao the factors affecting the speed. Earlier I have argue with another idiot same thing. My republic UNO plan all said below 300 kbs but just happen my area I can reach 600 kbs most of the time.

We used Speedtest by Okla to test the throttled speed but you don't, instead you used the speed shown by the phone which may not be accurate. I asked you to test the throttled speed using Speedtest and screenshot but you haven't done so.

Asking the guy who said his Uno throttled speed is 0.66 Mbps using his phone network speed when everyone of us using Speedtest got 0.33 Mbps or so.

upload is better than my uno . dl speed same same .

uno max dl speed ard 0.5 mbps if ya lucky , mostly 0.3 mbp and below .

but cheapest at 8 dollar with 999call and sms can't complain much also .

Agree. And i think he is using hotspot from phone. So maybe is the speed between phone and the other device. Some more when you are at home, Mostly will use wifi, then if really only his house got this speed. Don't tell me he use data only at home meh? He should have use it in many other areas as well. So overall the speed should still be around 0.25k. Then no point compare with other, because most ppl compare over all.

Who the heck assuming I had Wi-Fi at home when I test my republic comparing zero 1. What's the motive I need to lie that I can get 0.3 to 0.6 GB when use tethering. I just place a simple xiaomi phone enable hot-spot and place next to my unblock and Evpad and can stream YouTube and IPTV. Who care the figures in speed test? U tell me you can consistently surfing at 1GB than talk. There are so many factors affecting the mobile speed and orange head had listed them all correctly.

I am consistently moving around whole island. The best option for me is actually buying tourist SIM now. Every 7 days 100 GB at $12 for M1. Better than the M1 unlimited plan at $98 which throttle after 50 GB.

Since there are many factors affecting network speed, using the same app to make comparsion of network speeds will eliminate one source of variance. Most of us are using Speedtest by Okla to test out network speeds and we screenshot & share our results for the benefit of everyone. And this method is quite easy to do.

Be cautious against those who keep claiming that they can achieve certain network speeds (way beyond what most/all of us managed to achieved) since they are unwilling to use a common app to prove that the claimed network speed can be achieved.
