Ported over from MyRepublic Uno Plan to this. While the price is great for the amount of calls and sms you get, I don't use those, and the throttled speed is just not enough for my daily use. I'm not even talking about surfing web, social media. I'm just talking about messaging. The upload speed is so slow that I can't even send images using Telegram. So I ended up buying those one-time boost data. So essentially paying more for the plan compared the the 13.90 1GB to unlimited plan.
So in the end decided to port to this after hearing good feedback from friend. Signed up on Sunday. SIM delivered on Thurs. MR line was terminated friday night around 11pm, Zero1 line started up a few hours later. Was afraid it might be delayed till Monday, but thankfully didn't.
Anyway, how do you guys track data? Does using the Singtel app still work? Do you guys notice the bundled 1GB/3GB data runs out faster?
According to their T&Cs:
https://zero1.sg/terms-conditions
"Usage within the bundled data shall be computed in blocks of 1MB even if less than 1MB is used."
Singtel T&Cs:
https://www.singtel.com/mobile-terms-and-conditions
"Usage within the bundled data shall be computed in blocks of 100KB even if less than 100KB is used."
Previously using Singtel for like over 10 years, and after trying M1, Circles.Life, MyRepublic, I realised that their data don't run out as fast. They don't state how usage is being computed though, so it might be they are just tracking actual usage, not computing in blocks.
