Zero1 is upgrading our 5G mobile network from 5G(NSA) to 5G(SA), with support for 5G+ – unlocking the full power of next-generation connectivity. With a fully dedicated 5G infrastructure, your mobile connection will experience faster speeds, greater responsiveness, and stronger coverage across Singapore. This is in line with IMDA’s decision to move all 5G networks to the SA version and phase out the support for 5G(NSA) by 31 Dec 2025.

No mention of how the 5G service on plans <$15 will be handled.
Given that 5G(NSA) will be decom that is not an option.
So those will be back to 4G only ? Interesting.

From AI:

Singapore is decommissioning 5G NSA networks to focus on nationwide 5G SA deployment.

Singapore is transitioning away from 5G NSA (Non-Standalone) networks and prioritizing 5G SA (Standalone) networks for its nationwide rollout. The Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and the Ministry of Digital Development and Information have stated that Singapore’s 5G strategy is to deploy SA networks, which offer full 5G capabilities like ultra-low latency, network slicing, and massive machine-type communications. NSA networks, which rely on existing 4G infrastructure, were only a temporary solution for faster initial rollout and are being phased out in favor of SA networks. The target is to achieve nationwide 5G SA coverage by the end of 2025. https://www.mddi.gov.sg/newsroom/mci-response-pq-percentage-completion-5g-network-half-sg-2022 https://www.lightreading.com/5g/why-singapore-is-going-straight-to-standalone-5g

If you are currently using a 5G NSA device or plan, you may need to upgrade to ensure compatibility with the new SA network as operators gradually decommission NSA services. https://teltonika-networks.com/newsroom/everything-to-know-about-the-3g-shutdown-in-singapore

Will the phasing out of 5G NSA slowdown the 5G SA?
The idea is that instead of splitting spectrum between 5G SA & 5G NSA, consolidate them for use for 5G SA only.
So in principle it should result in fast performance overall. Actual performance will be anyone's guess.

The writing is on the wall.
31Dec25 - No more 5G NSA due to IMDA regulations.
Those that are not on 5G plan (i.e. less than $15) will not be upgraded to the SA network.
i.e. They will be reverted back to 4G.
Aligns with their promotion that the 5G was only for 3 months (i.e. 5G NSA will expire before 31Dec25).

Probably $15 plan at minimum for 5G SA moving forward, 4G for below $15.
>$20 for 5G SA with priority lane segment into 2x, 4x etc…
That is a reasonable guess and is the most likely scenario.
Let's see if there is any surprises.
