Does not work via "install from SD card" at Recovery Mode and with OEM unlocking (Developers options) enabled.

Well, there is no clear instructions found on XDA forum. Perhaps I am on firmware B05 not B06.

I still can't update to B05, I download the software package starting with "2016", copied to my SD card, unzipped the file, there's a guide and a file named "update", when I try to open the "update" file it says "windows cannot complete the extraction.
The destination file could not be created"
So I copied the file "update" file my computer's download section, copy to my SD card, check using file manager on my axon 7, it says "update.zip". OK, done. But when I check for updates it still says my software is up to date although I'm on B02. Why?
Am I not following the guide correctly?

You're not supposed to unzip update.zip. Just put it in the root folder of your SD card.

At the very least the phone should have detected the update and prompted you to install it so maybe the file was corrupted.

Or you can try using the recovery mode method. Turn on the phone while holding the volume up key, then use the volume down key to select update phone and press the power button to select.

Root folder means the file itself not in any other files right?

Still can't update axon 7 to B05, recovery mode said they couldn't update it as well.
:
I rlly need a video tutorial T.T

Try using a different SD card. Perhaps a better quality one, I am using Sandisk Extreme UHS-I.

Anyway, I couldn't bear the itch and went ahead to update my phone's firmware to B06 and then to B08.

Steps for the latter:
1) Copy file "fota_B19MR_B22.ZIP" to root directory of SD card. Remove "update.zip" if it was stored there.
2) Edit: Enable OEM Unlocking -- look under Settings>Developer Options>OEM Unlocking
3) Reboot the phone to Recovery mode [Shut down first, Press Power + Volume-Up keys together and hold]
4) At Recovery mode menu, navigate to install the a/m ZIP file from SD card.

Yep! B08 brings all the goodies mentioned earlier. So far so good..

I have my sandisk SD card I bought last year, but after putting it in in my axon 7 a few days later it was corrupted. I tried to format it, but unsuccessful. I had a spare Samsung SD card I bought 2 years ago, but it's not the very good type like evo.
