Windscreen wiper during rainy days

Hi guys, aside from cleaining the wiper rubber strip regularly, how do you ensure good vision on rainy days? Is there any solution you apply to the windscreen or rubber strip ?Realised during the recent rainy season when i use my wipers, the front windscreen still is a little blur. Not sure whats the issue or how to improve it..

Get it coated to repel water. Then uses less wiper action, wiper longer life.
DIY can liao.

Can try apply rain-x on the windscreen, repels water.

Just visited Mazda Service Center on Saturday to check on the suspensions and mountings as my warranty is coming to an end...brought up the issue on changing ATF to the tester...his reply was no need to change, it is lifetime according to Mazda Japan. Anyone here change the atf before?

Not just this brand suggested that ATF is lifetime... VW also. To have a peace of mind?Just continue to change it outside as it won't cost you much, since oredi spend so much on the car.

Watch this:

I took over a Mazda recently at 80k mileage, had the ATF changed. It came out brown. The new Mazda ATF is greenish-blue in colour. The workshop mechanic said the ATF hasn't been changed at all.

For peace of mind, just change the fluid. It doesn't cost as much as repairing the entire gearbox.

Thanks bros for your experience on the CX-3. Agree it seems too tight for a compact SUV. Just came back from the showroom and kena poison by the CX-30 instead haha... Wonder if it's worth it compared to other crossovers in the same class.

Servicing Package and Extended Warranty Promotion

Sent my car for servicing at TEK. Was offered this promo package for CX-3 above 20K mileage. I overheard similar promo package offered to owners of other models as well.

Promo package for CX-3

30% off for next 30K, 40K and 50K mileage servicing ---> Net Payable $825
50% off for next 30K, 40K, 50k, 60K and 70K servicing---> Net Payable $1229.43

30%* off 2 year Extended Warranty or 140K mileage --> Net Payable $1229
50%* off 2 year Extended Warranty or 140K mileage --> Net Payable $999

* I would think that if you opted for the 30% discount servicing package you are entitled only for the 30% extended warranty.

Promo only valid till end Jan. Looks quite attractive I must say.

Thanks to all for the advice. Was rather skeptical as Tester (TEK Ubi) told me owners changed ATF never do programming and there are cases that the gearbox was faulty after the atf change and a gearbox costs $16,000! Anyway I just ordered online at shopee ATF-FZ. Plan to change it at 50000km.

It seems the wing mirror motor is another issue for Mazda 3. Mine (LH) was changed the previous week at TEK Penjuru. December 2020 just changed one of the engine mounting (hydraulic) at TEK Ubi.

Unfortunately it is the priciest compared to other crossovers.

HR-V more practical with its larger boot space, new model coming out soon
CH-R more economical (the hybrid engine model), Yaris Cross is actually one range lower than CH-R.
XV has AWD system

Otherwise the CX-30 has supposedly the best interior and most horsepower of the listed crossovers.

Did you asked tester why need to perform progamming after each ATF change?

I presume TEK provides one year free servicing? You can consider the 30-50k package to align with the three years warranty.

After that can just service outside.

No, my car is 1 year old. The warranty that comes with car is 3 years. So this extended warranty package offered should be covering year 4 and 5.

I’m driving a 2018 Mazda 3. Both wing mirror have problem opening. Send to penjuru, they only change left wing mirror. Few month later send to Ubi, they say no problem with right wing mirror. If want to change, take video of the fault and come back again. Suspension have knocking sound, they claim it’s normal. Gave up on TEK. Total waste of time ding dong at TEK. All these happen within warranty period

He mention something like some board at gearbox that needed programming. I did not enquire in-depth as they were trying to sell me the servicing package and extended warranty. My warranty going to end in mid-March 2021:sad:

Actually I bought my current ride on 4 January 2021. Just trying to maximise the warranty before it runs out. Wanted to do the 40k servicing with TEK but they quoted me $561 (oil change + brake flush), I got a shock at the high price and did the 40k with Autoworld Care at Lok Yang (oil change using castrol 0w 20, brake flush, change 4 iridium spark plugs, air filter and cabin filter) before going to TEK. Total cost $414, may not be the cheapest but still cheaper than TEK.

Mine is also a 2018 Mazda 3. Then it seems the wing mirror motor is indeed problematic. I also feedbacked about the suspensions but after check, TEK told me no issue found.
