as long as you know the shape of the pins is determined by regulation, not the voltage/current.13A plug comes with rectangular pins whereas 15A plug comes with thicker round pins. There should be voltage and current labels on the plug itself.
A bad electrician can just as easily wire a standard UK flat pin type box to a 15A line. Or a handyman could just as easily change a flat pin plug to a round pin plug to fit a round pin socket.
All this is against the COP, but people can and will still do.
