i just watched his clip last night.
Never expected sporeans so easy to part the money like that.
Especially what he said very true, purchase those already ready condos and people already live in rather than just give you see the design and tell you beautiful stories...all BS.
Many Sinkies having the mentility of using local investing matter , and apply overseas.

Remember this case and many more ?

Singaporean investors were involved in a significant scam through the EcoHouse Brazilian property scheme in the early 2010s, losing millions as the project was fraudulent, though the issue of "con" implies a deliberate trickery rather than a general fraud. There was also a separate, major corruption case involving the Singapore-based company Seatrium (and its former subsidiary Sembcorp Marine) and Brazilian authorities, which involved bribery rather than individual property investment fraud.

Many people said 20% absd is worth it until they saw the prices of their next property cost $2M, so absd is $400,000. Nobody with the right mind will pay $400,000...
Still better than spending this $2M
on a property in Msia with all the risks.

Both are not worth it. Absd is working what it intended to do, deterring multiple properties ownership in Singapore. Malaysia properties are as usual, full of portholes and traps.

Not worth to you but may be worth to others who have spare cash and wanting a 2nd property.

Additional 20% is not high.

It's a well-known fact to only buy completed condos in Malaysia, not unbuilt ones. And only buy in KL, full cash no loan.

those whom got burnt are just greedy & wanna flip. It's not the same as SG for those not-in-the-know.

Even those completed, have their problems. Buyers have to deal with managements, ever increasing sinking and mgt fees. They just have no choice, but to swallow those fees. After certain years, management can't manage well , and the condo buildings run down. A typical story of BolehLand properties.
