good habit, Pullups are the best upper body workout imo. Can rotate grips to focus different muscle group

Listen to your body. Pull up do to much if not careful can get joint injury (mainly elbow and shoulder) especially as one ages. If feeling joint pain better slow down and have more ample rest period.

If purely doing calisthenics, once you can do 10-20 pull-ups, move onto weighted pull-ups and muscle-up progressions to gain more strength.

Solid advice.

Another tip from latest sports science is to do isometric exercises for tendon health. Jerking motions degrade the tendons, while isometric force strengthens tendons.

65 considered very good lo. Got one time, I push to 221 then all sorts of problems come. Tennis elbow, shoulder impingement relapse.

Old liao, thinking cut down to alternate days.

Compared to you i am nothing but an ant. Your achievement is my goal which is to hit 100. Don’t think i can ever hit 221 pull up.

At the moment i am doing only 3x per week. But i combined it with other work out. 64+ kg here.

Nothing to compare la. You are doing good. Tats time too extreme, not good for joints and resulted to injuries. 3 times a week is a good pace.💪🏻

You wanna try this method? Stand on a chair, put yourself in a pull-up position (Neck above the bar), get someone to remove the chair then slowly use your strength to lower yourself. Keep repeating these steps.
