yeah, the Sorento 2021 is really a very nice car. my only hesitation is that it's a diesel car.

and the SX Tech variant is slightly on the expensive side

If you can’t get your head around a diesel, then better not get. You would not be happy at the end of the day. Take a look at Mazda, they built decent cars too.

Nothing wrong about diesel for me.. but TS seem to be worried about it.

In regards to road tax, I used to drive 2.0 and 2.5 petrol, so road tax for diesel doesn’t bother me that much.

Now diesel car wont affect any owner , inside cabin u wont notice anything. Is only for passby who will hear the clatter, but no need to care about others

I always NV curious what are the survival rate for the last row of riders if kana bang from the back.

Kana bang from the back is uncontrollable , specially during a chain accident.

I see cars like sienta , freed or Noah. The metal like quite thin le n the last row is almost touching the rear door. Quite scary

when was this? it's actually a good price.

2 weeks ago when I was there, the SX Tech variant is 174999

Really can't imagine paying so much for a Korean car.

The SX Tech variant just went up to 181,999. Not sure whats driving the price up. I'm pretty sure its not COE since the normal SX variant is still 166999.

if it's not due to COE, I think they are pricing themselves out. anything above 180k is GLB territory.

I just checked C&C price list, the prices are up by few thousands. Lucky I booked early this month and save me few thousand.

Can consider CX-8 if willing to pay $180k, which is at $165k as per sgCarMart. I have not test driven CX-8 but have test driven CX-9, which was nice and have good 3rd row space.

COE has gone crazy so suggest to wait if there is no urgency.
