Thot of staying at Cameron Highlands for 2 nites (by air fm Spore) and then proceed to Penang for 4 nites.
What's the best way getting to Penang?
Thanks.

Hi Penang experts, can share how much is the prepaid SIM card in Penang? Will be there for 3d2n only... will need data for whatsapp and google maps only... data consumption will be minimal

tried to search the thread but keeps returning an error...

Not a Penang expert, but...

You can either go for Maxis Hotlink Fast which will also allow you to call and SMS, or Maxis Hotlink Tablet plan.

Hotlink Fast (basic) SIM pack costs RM10 and comes with RM5 credit (valid for 5 days), 300MB internet (valid for 2 days), and Free Basic Internet - click link for details - and you can either use the free weekend data or free 1GB from the Red app (bottom of page in link).

Hotlink Tablet plan lets you keep the card for a year, good for low data users. Pack costs RM30, and you can keep the SIM card for your next trip. But it's only available in Maxis Centers - Maxis Queensbay (Penang) will be your source. (P.S. Can check the dealer across from this center in the mall, if Maxis has no stock.)

Oh yes... there's a Malaysia Prepaid Card thread, if you need more information.
