Travelling to Penang by bus can check which bus terminal is nearer to Georgetown tks all.

What kind of nature?
Langkawi - beach and nature (waterfall)
Penang - not only city life
Koh Lipe (near to Langkawi, Thailand) - a island with beautiful beaches.

Komtar bus terminal for long distance bus and island wide bus.

Most express buses stop at Sg Nibong Terminal. Rapid Penang bus stop is near for passengers heading to George Town. Another option you alight at Butterworth bus terminal and take a ferry over to George Town

Been using Grab to get everywhere in Penang for the past week. Rate is about RM1~1.50/km. Cheap & efficient.

If you travel with group of 4, staying at Straits Quay is a good option

Cheap and good apartment

Quite convenient as well

Last minute 3d2n Penang trip booked, suaku first time there, would like some advice.

We're taking an overnight bus up which will arrive like 7am in the morning but our check in is only at 3pm.
1. Is there wifi at Sungai Nibong Terminal to book Grab?
2. What's there to eat/do between that time in the morning with some luggage in tow?

What are the must try/must go places to eat/visit?

go to yr hotel first to deposit yr luggages then go ard sight seeing.. at the same time u can tell them late check in also.. like this u dun need to tow luggages all over the place , dun need to rush 3pm to check in and can enjoy yrself.
