ok thanks....anyone has a picture of a DAC or how much it cost?

Just by using onboard sound card(realteak high def sound card or sumting) and aego M will ensure mi good SQ? Or do i need to change the cables which connect the speaker to my computer or get a dac (how much does it cost for a moderate price one)?

can consider budget dac like tianyun zero dac.
you can get it at $229 at jaben network.
you will notice a very big jump from onboard sound to a zero dac...

$229.
using it now with my aego m.
make your ur motherboard has SPDIF optical or coaxial in order to work with zero dac.
else you can consider other dac that use USB.

Can try the NeoMini Digiamp also. At least it doesn't cost more than half of your speakers.

*I would say..it's HIGHLY MOD-ABLE !

I would like to try too. Hopefully the mids will sound better. hehe. But can't seem to find the UCC MKP2000 1uF/100VDC capacitor around.

I can only find the the high end Mundorf Mcap MKP 1uF Capacitor but 400VDC wor! Around $20 a pair for capacitors! The stock Jamicon electrolytic are only 1uF 50VDC.

Let me know if anyone is wanting to try, buy in bulk.

Any reviews? :D

I think personally AEGO M system is target at a certain segment which is Music. So it is seriously down to individual taste. Over the past 1 month of testing, I have tested the following sound system. Altec Lansing MX5021 (My cousin owns it), Creative T3 (Tested 1 hour at BEST DENKI IMM) and the rare Logitech Z2300 (A colleague owns it).
I am not a sound expert so I cannot listen to much difference only on general and how I feel.
I do find if you are looking for good thumping sound and effects... T3 is the front runner follow by Z2300, Altec Lansing MX5021 and AEGO M.
For music, there is no doubt AEGO M strike gold here. The word I would used is CRISP. I listen to classical musics and I dare to say, the quality output of AEGO M is very pleasing to my ears and this is the reason I decided over other 3, I do play games but I am more into the gameplay rather than the sound effects.

But I believe... if you want good surround for Movie in AEGO M, you might wanna invest a center speaker... I am hoping to find more info from the experts forum here.

Just grab the system first and test... for some... the default cables is already enough...
