Does anyone know if I ordered Samsung AX40 Air filter from Happy Mall in Qoo10 - do I need to pay GST separately or included in courier fee??

I bought the 2016 version - gave the 2015 version to relative with cancer. His house is near major road & construction site so hopefully can keep the particle level down for him.

should be asking the seller this question. but you shouldnt be required to pay gst, they will know how to get it done.

How many filters you bought?? Total cost plus shipping above S$400?

Which courier was it sent by?

If using Qxpress. They will contact you, according to their FAQ

There are below reasons why your parcel has been pending(D0).

▶ In excess of the total value SGD 400
Following the Singapore Customs policy, GST relief is granted on goods imported by post to a total value not exceeding $400. Where the value exceeds $400, the entire sum would be subject to GST(7%).
When we receive the parcel exceeding SGD 400, we get the buyer’s confirmation of GST payment and then make arrangement for shipping.

The total is above 400 as I bought 2 extra filters for a total of 4 filters. It's shipped via Fedex.

The Happy Mall ad was confusing, right at the top of the post, it says there is no need to pay GST but under the FAQ, taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.

I bought 2015 AX40 from them previously but didn't exceed 400 last round.

Thanks bros & sisters

More like convenience. Since they were offering Samsung replacement filters for the 2016 AX40 model together with the AP itself....save myself the hassle of buying replacement later

Thanks Goni for finally solving my problem. To be fair they took 3 working days to reply to my video.

Samsung Singapore (Commonwealth branch) checked my purifier, then they t old me my motherboard is spoilt (just because they want to earn my money $200 to change motherboard SG! ) its either they are very clueless or dishonest and greedy

Samsung Korea and Goni global told me the reason why lights are blinking and not functioning.
Here is the solution
The reason all the lights are just blinking is because the options is unset.

This problem can be solved by
1) Unplug the purifier,
2) Connect the plug,
3) press Menu button + Lock looking button for 3 seconds (it will make a "ting" sound),
4) Press menu button + power button for 3 seconds (it will make a "ting" sound),
Thats your option set.
5) Unplug your purifier and connect, it will work normally.

Hope it helps everyone

Guys, I've got the blinking lights problem similar to the above for AX40H5000GMD

After I unplug and plug in the samsung, the lights start blinking.

From the instructions, I am supposed to do step (3) without pressing the power button first, but step (3) there is no sound. Anyway, I do step (3) with no sound, then step (4) no sound, nothing happens. Any advice or more detailed instructions anywhere.

If possible get xiaomi version 1 from NTUC Extra. Local warranty.

Sharp and novita - IMHO not good enough.

I had a sharp previously but airflow not as strong as Xiaomi.

Thinking of getting an air purifier and was recommended Xiaomi v. 1 due to price and local warranty availability at NTUC. Did some searching online and reviews seemed good, but the came across below two negative ones. Anyone got thoughts on these two articles on Xiaomi v. 1?

In light of this, might reconsider to get a Novita one although few hundred more. Any thoughts on Novita NAP 6XX vs. 8XX?

Thanks bro. So means Xiaomi 1 fit for purpose? I am not very expert with DIY (e.g. filter replacement requiring custom / DIY to fit) or overly technical discussion (e.g. counting to many decimal, differences in readings), just want something for bedroom that will work and clean up the air, rate well on the cost / benefit scale, and easy to replace filter in the future.

EDIT: Did some further reading and will proceed with a Xiaomi 2 from Qoo10.
