Now BESt got alot of sharp model. Huat ah....
For my first gen, i got it before they sent out the second one, and apparently it could not sense very very low particulate numbers, ie i put it at the output of my air purifiers and it's not single digits. All i could get min is 19.
Thanks for the details! Did your second gen unit do better with low particulate numbers?
It would take about 3 days to reach 4PX SZ and another 4-5 days to get delivered to my doorstep.Just wanna share this.
This is HDU / High Dependency Unit @ Mount Elizabeth Hospital.
About 60cm by 60cm. Not sure about depth.
It's at the output of the air vent. Each and every small room got its own air vent and HEPA filter (which is relatively huge compared to our air purifiers).

HEPA filter use in clean room.
Does anyone have any idea if the filters for Samsung AX40 has shelf life of how many months? especially if the filter is being kept in its packaging?
Wow, this thread is a life saver when the haze is back. Thanks
I have some questions.
I saw posting on replacement filters from Fellowes. I am just thinking, why not I just get the Fellowes air purifier, since one of the models they sell are even more advanced than the Sharp or Samsung models. No need modify the filter, just buy from Amazon and ship direct.
Product Compare
I look at the prices on Amazon UK, looks decent (SGD430 all in plus minus) for the DX95 model. Airflow is only CADR 200, price of replacement filters are about USD67 for a set of 4 carbon filters and 1 True HEPA filter with antimicrobal treaetment.
Fellowes Aeramax DX95 Air Purifier with True Hepa Filter: Amazon.co.uk: Kitchen & Home
What you guys think? Surprisingly the DX95 is cheaper than the AP300 model in the UK Amazon.

got weird smell now...haze?
