Is it good to leave the AX40 running continuously without rest? Mine has been running for a few days already hahaha.

Don't try with the less energy efficient China stuff though.

I've gotten myself a new cheap humidifier >~$30/- but it seems like cant work hand in hand with the AP. Every time I on the humidifier, the AP turns red even when I place them far apart (not really far, just one the other end of the room )

I'm wonder will it affect the AP in long run if it keeps absorbing the tiny mist produced by the humidifier. Currently running them on alternate days.

These filters do more than enough even for the usual Sensitive/Susceptible Group folks. What matters is really to close the door and windows properly (turn on aircon) and also select an air purifier that does at least 5 air changes per hour for your room. IF can do 8X, do it. The absolute filter efficiency makes very little difference in real life.....from my testing and measurements.

If you remove the charcoal filter from the AP then ok, still can smell the scent. lol

I use an aroma diffuser I got from Muji, can smell the essential oil and it doesn't seem to interfere with the AP. It's not exactly a humidifier but it does produce a fine mist

Was in my parents' room earlier and moved the Samsung AX40 over there for a couple of hours. The light sensor will change colours on and off (usu from blue to yellow or green),I wonder could it be due to the windows not being air tight? The light sensor doesn't really change when in my room unless I open the door.
