I've the same problem for the past two weeks. Very irritating. Once, all transactions failed but it still showed as pending on my account, chat with CSO, somehow it disappeared (didn't get posted) after a few days.

Now still encountering the same issue, once it fails, I change to Paylah. At first I thought is M1 4G CMI again but Paylah works so is not my phone or telco.

I tried yesterday and this morning. Mine not so bad. Always on 2nd attempt then successful

not really but the one I patronised was not long q so still ok.

I got other options also.. try a few times cannot then use other payment ba no choice..

I have a suspicion Amex Pay is riding on some other local maybe Nets payment network as part of their backend processing? Not very sure if a lot of users complain and Amex Pay "own" the payment process they should be quick to rectify it. The time when it can't is they depend on some other parties and the fault is on the other side then it is hard to rectify. How I know is I am software developer so a lot of my services I built are calling some other third party services and if that side got problem there is nothing much I can do on my end except to "chase" them.

As mentioned, get support to remove all Amex Pay devices.

Thanks for sharing. I had encountered this a few times last weekend. I thought it was my credit card has been blocked as the transactions are largely rejected with one or two successful at times. But i was able to use the credit cards at other merchants.

Thanks for sharing. Does it work after you do this? I realise that the AMEX Chat advice is typically wrong based on my past interactions.

Did it show technical error with the card message? I got that often and I re-tried a few times till it was successful. I was lucky coz no queue. Otherwise I will switch to PayLah

Yes. But I always only try once and will just switch out haha, paiseh to take a long time

It also failed for me.. Noticed QR alignment go haywire, instead of square barcode.. Is rectangle shape. I think the Cs only the most advise re add your phone. I suspect is the app itself cannot capture correct data and real time capture the transaction.

Seems like the issue is still not fixed for me too. Tried two times using 2 different AMEX cards and both failed. Gave up and paid using cash to avoid jamming up the queue.

Failed for me. I tried scanning twice at the 1st stall, can scan and input amount but got the message: The payment is not successful. Tried in another stall. The same thing happened. In the end switch to Grabpay which works.

I guess just don't use AmexPay for hawker foodstall. The 1.5% rebate just forgo lor.
