Every $2 spend under the 5% earn 0.1optimum$. At the end of the statement month rounded down to nearest optimum$.

hey, i was backtracking and found out your reply. i have just checked the T&C, it is /$10

Under the 5% Category Tier, Cardmembers will be awarded 0.5 Optimum$ for every
S$10.00 (or equivalent foreign currency) of Retail Spend in the selected Category
charged to the Cardmember’s relevant Card Account, which is also equivalent to 5% of
the Retail Spend. Spend made in foreign currency will be subject to exchange rate
fluctuations and will be based on the Bank’s conversion rate.

and with regards to the rounding down to nearest optimum$, u are correct

11. The accumulation of the Optimum$ will be rounded down to the nearest 1 Optimum$ on
each Card statement date. There is no limit to the total Optimum$ accumulated and no
limit on the number of transactions that can be made, for each statement cycle.

Lol. The tnc is just stating that as an illustration. 100% certain 0.1 optimum$ earned for every $2 spent under 5% category.

Yeap. There you go :)

Remember. Max is 30optimum$ per transaction of $600 sgd (local or overseas spending)

Also... users can only redeem 50 opt$ each time to offset their bills.

So it's pretty troublesome to redeem 750 opt$... need to do 15 times and enter the same details 15 times.

But I guess that's the tradeoff because the user can make unlimited numbers of $600/transaction per month.

from what i understood of your comment, you meant that each month can only redeem 50opt$? but under T&C its stated as such

2. 1 Optimum$ is equivalent to S$1 cash rebate, unless otherwise stated. Redemption of
cash rebate shall be subject to a minimum of 50 Optimum$ and must be made in
multiples of 50 Optimum$.

wa where u all get all these additional information from that aren't stated in T&Cs, this is confusing

From CSO (he say it is illustration and min 0.1 optimum$ awarded per transaction), confirmation with actual transactions from people in forum (so far everyone agrees) and my experience every month (got 0.1 optimum$ for every $2 under 5% category without fail)

Henabi did not say can only redeem $50 each month. Instead meant need to redeem 15 times for $750.

this is quite crappy eh if the T&C doesn't fully describe the details then how do we customers have to find out the actual facts without calling in =\
