Urs is annual fee waiver? Just felt sian cos nv receive mail statement thus forget abt the bill n kanna bill 60:(

Never receive mail statement?

ANZ no ibanking so the only method of receiving the bill is through the mail.

Did you not check your mailbox? Or they never send/got lost? If they never send or got lost, u should have a case against them...

for late fee waiver, i also took multiple calls before they finally waive
the fee . Looks like ANZ is dumping all the peasants and going for the
higher income grps...

That may be true... I know someone who got the annual fee waiver approved last month though that person hasn't been spending a lot of this card.

no what i meant is that have you paid your annual fee yet? or you left the annual fee portion unpaid

Should always leave annual fee unpaid unless u are willing to pay the annual fee. If waiver successful no need to pay annual fee, if waiver not successful can cancel card no need pay annual fee also.

understand, so the correct thing should do is:

1) wait for CC bill to show annual fee
2) pay whatever amount in CC bill bar annual fee
3) redeem whatever optimum$
4) meanwhile call for waiver
5) swipe to spend rebated optimum$
6) if waiver fail, pay whatever that are due on next CC bill (except annual fee)

right?

sorry new credit card owner so have to learn from you pros

Can

1) redeem optimum$
2) wait for CC bill to show annual fee
3) pay whatever amount in CC bill less annual fee and redeemed rebate
4) wait for redeemed rebate to be credited
5) call for waiver
6) if waiver fail despite numerous request, cancel card. Make sure the CSO nil off the account, no need pay annual fee. If waiver successful, make sure annual fee credited in, no need pay annual fee, can continue using the card.
