Yes the min monthly spend on credit cards make me do crazy things and buy things that I don't need to buy.

I have applied for the HSBC Revo card with min spend in 1st month of $600 gives me a luggage bag. To meet this spend I spent my Saturday morning going to pwc building to prepay the sp services bill using the credit card. They allow only 2 months average bill advance payment, in addition to current bill. They allowed me to charge $300.

No. There is no cap per month/quarter/year. Only cap is 30 optimum$ per transaction.

ANZ customer service team is so screwed up and robotic. I overlooked a bill of $50 and they charged me $60 late charge fee + interest charge. Requested for a fee waiver and they simply refused to waive it! Appealed and they refused to budge. After I redeemed all the optimum$, I will cancel the card. No wonder ANZ are retrenching staff.

I only got my fee waived after I called and emailed them multiple times to appeal. I got about 2-3 different fees waived though. You'll need persistence if you want them waived.

I called anz several times and after 3 months still no e statement. Paper statement only comes on ad hoc basis after I call. Got to call again this mth
