I think 93% still good le. Go below 85 can consider liao.

I just worry my current batt is not original since the battery health drop quite fast with very light use. (97 to 93% in 5 months+) Only social media/whatsapp/calls as a work phone.

Since price increasing by $30 after 1st March can consider changing 🤣

my phone battery health was at 100% for the longest time then suddenly drop few % within a short span of time like within 1 or 2 weeks.

So i guess its 'normal'? i can be quite sure yours will stay at 93% for a long time before it starts to drop further..

mine's 11 pro. went from 100% almost straight to 97% and stayed at 97% really long time since.

My 11promax also quite tank before i changed to 14.

I sold at 90% battery health after owning it for 3 years 😀 Was also the last round-edge iphone till they revert back to the cornered design :censored: Sort of miss it since midnight green was my fav iphone color

Nowadays can walk in to Apple store to replace battery? Or must make appointment first?

Also, do I need to factory reset the phone before battery replacement?

do I need to provide my password to Apple?

TIA

even though no need to factory reset, suggest to backup, as sometimes things can still go wrong and data might be gone

Best to make appointment for them to allocate stocks, especially older models. Can try to walk in if u are free to drop by as well.

No need factory reset, just make sure you do a backup just in case. They changed my battery for my iphone 8 plus without needing to reset.

I remembered that I had my passcode on when I handed my phone over. But they did ask me to off my "Find My"

Not sure is it a norm for battery replacement. But i replace my iphone battery at Apple MBS. They gave me an estimated collection time at 4pm, Apple staff told me they will call/sms me when my phone is done. End up i reached back at Apple store at 4:10pm and blindly waiting for the call/text till 5pm till i approached a staff to to ask for the status of my battery replacement. End up it was already ready since 2:30pm and I wasn't notified. Gave the benefit of doubt but kena troll by Apple MBS 🤣

Kena from them also. Told me collect at a certain time, I patrolled the whole of MBS until tired so went there to hang around waiting for time. Only when I finally went to sit downstairs that a staff approached me. Similarly, phone was ready earlier, should have approached to ask them instead of waiting for time.

there are many customers, so staff wouldn't always remb you are there to pick-up the phone, so it is only normal for customer to go ask if it is ready for them to check
