they tell me go ewalker, but its far for me. is bikelink at woodlands ok?

I'm not crazy about bikelink (2) at Woodlands but it doesn't hurt to ask if they are willing to do upgrades for your bike. I do know that they seem to have a good bike repair and servicing setup.

If they won't do it, you can ask at Rodalink which is literally next door to them.

I saw they were servicing a Java foldie, so I think maybe they know how to service foldies most shops don't really know what parts can work on foldies.

I currently run two battery light systems and one dyno hub light system.

The DesignShine is somewhere on the order of 1300 lumens while the Ixon IQ Premium is 80 lux; both of them on the highest settings.

20 lux is not enough for that particular stretch of canal path but it is a very short distance. If the poster is worried, then, just ride around it.

actually i find that, any lights that are bright enough to see the surroundings, are too bright for any oncoming riders :(

those who ride changi PCN towards ECP at night will know what i meant :(

Ok, thanks guys for all the comments.

Basically I would like to mount the front light below (Similar to the pic below) is there any such lights in Singapore OR anywhere selling similar light mounting bracket? Thanks! :)

Wheeler is more of a budget brand.

You should probably go for more established bike brands if you intend to pursue this hobby. Buying budget bikes may cause buyer's remorse and make you give up on the hobby eventually.

I guess, a decent entry bike should consist of sora or claris gearset, else it may cause buyer's remorse. Correct me if i am wrong.

So far, i only spotted Polygon HELIOS & Merida Speeder. Is there any more choices?

i would like to know, i saw Giant Hybrid Escape. They are using shimano gearsets but is not found in the shimano website.

I saw an increasing number of riders using super fat tire. Contemplating to get one myself...are they good? Why are they so popular ?
