i was at Best Denki in IMM, the demo was just ordinary. the sales person also could not answer some questions. I was considering the YSP-2200.

Hi bberry,

What questions you were asking? It might be a Best Denki staff attending you.

Let me know what is your concern.

Thanks and have a great labour day!

Do you mean 3rd party product such as TV? Or you are referring to some other products? Pls elaborate. Thanks.

Here is an example for you.

QED uPlay Plus:
Link

Your product of YAS-101 worth $499 in retail price. This QED accessory cost $280 in SG. That is something i think worthwhile for you to invest if you use wireless bluetooth music streaming oftenly. Majority consumers might think this Bluetooth accessories are very expensive. That's all i can help you with 3rd party products.

Cheers!

Hi,
I am looking to purchase a Home theatre system for both movies and music.
I like the 2200 initially but it has the 'sonic' hole which make me to look at 3300 instead.
However, at the 3300 price range, is it better to be looking at those traditional amplifier + speaker setup instead? I'm not so keen in running wires all over though. Will need some advise on what to get say if i go for those traditional setup. Also, i would like to visit the showroom to hear it for myself. How can i get about doing it?

Thanks for your time!

Audio Return Channel Not Working

Hi

I can't get Audio Return Channel to work on my Yamaha RX V467 with my LED TV LG 42LS4600. I have written to LG for help and they said I have to plug into HDMI Port 1 which I did.

I activtate Simplink from my TV and switch to HT Speakers, and all I could do is to control the volume of the RXV467 from my TV remote. I strongly believe some form of communitcation is established via ARC. But there is no sound from my speaker.

Anyone know if I missed something?
Not sure if forumers can help to throw in some advise.

Thankyou

Hi guys, I have a problem here with my YSP 4300.
I connected Yamaha blu ray BD S673 to the hdmi 1 port.
I also connected my mio tv box to the hdmi 2 port.
I then connect the ARC out port on my YSP 4300 to my Samsung 6700 ARC in port.
I can view programs on my TV from Mio and can hear the sound from my soundbar perfectly.
However I cannot see picture on my tv when I playback the blu ray.
I can hear the sound from the soundbar clearly tho.

I unplug the hdmi cable from my blu ray and connect directly to my TV. It worked. Both sound and pic is good.
What could be the problem?
Hope someone can advise me. Thanks.

Hi bro,

Sorry for late reply.

Please check your HDMI Cable. Try change of different HDMI Cables. While doing this process of changing cables, make sure you power off the sets before you retest entire process again.

Hope it helps.

Cheers!

Hi bro,

Can you try these.
1. HDMI Cable from MioTV plug out, and plug in to BD Player Output.
In this scenario, don't change any other Connections. Use back same input from YSP and TV.
This will test the YSP HDMI Inputs if it is faulty.

Also, please advise me where you made your purchase?

Many thanks!
