Got warrenty

No warranty. Shld have spent $100 more on padfone S. At least if screen crack, they do a 1 to 1 change.

Actually they might have a t&c for screen change. Those accidentally drop will not be eligible for the change.

Padfone S is marketed as drop and water resistant. Wonder how warranty coverage will differ from normal phones

It's apparent infinity won't be restock.
Currently have 3 choice;get padfone s,oneplus or wait till march.
Will compare specs and decide tonight

Not sure if it is good but easy to apply and clear. Tempered glass, packing stated anti shatter glass.

Notification light

I can't seem to get the notification light on my ASUS new Padfone Infinity A86 to work. It appears to me my ambient sensor is spoiled.

Any expert know how to enable it?

I chosen a colour to blink the notification light when a new message is received in Whatsapp, but doesn't work. No light, no blinking, nothing, when the screen is off or on.

Any advices is very much appreciated.

Padfone Infinity has no notification LED to begin with.

That's correct. Before I update it to Android 4.4.2, the phone was still able to detect my 5GHz WiFi. After updating it, none of the 5GHz WiFi network is detected.

Padfone Infinity has no notification LED to begin with.

Thank you Dorkable for pointing it out. I guess the proximity and ambient sensors on the Padfone Infinity are used for other functions.

Definitely not my router issue, since I have other 802.11ac devices connected to my router also. Did a factory reset a few times still can't detect 5GHz network.
