Agreed. But from my experience of using UX303 for just 6 months. The hinge between the lcd and notebook is the weak area. It broke off easily. So if you need a notebook that travel in and out frequently. This notebook is note physically fit, as is the same design as UX303 casing.

It's ux305FA 256gb ssd 8gb ram. Black.
Exchange rate Shld be around 1.45 by the cc. Vpost freight charge Shld be around 100. Don't worry. This is the max u will pay. If any amount that went above the quoted I will absorb it. I will also absorb the 2.5% cc charge. If the exchange rate used or freight charge cost by Vpost is lower, I will let u know and u just have to pay whatever it costs.
Please help by spreading the words..
I rather sell it to someone than to incur the Vpost charge and return to amazon...

Even if it's the highest end model, it's still only a great productivity notebook - not meant for games at all.

For my personal usage, I need to render videos on the go and all, that's where I need the higher class Core i5 or i7 processors - they can process these videos faster (time is of the essence for me) and are slightly more snappier than the Core M counterparts in general, but they are no slouch themselves.

But if there's no specific usage other than basic productivity like web browsing, editing Office docs and some photoshoping, the basic Core M edition is worthy enough for most folks like you've highlighted.

Hi, for those who bought from Amazon or Windows online store, any comments on:

1) Warranty? Does Asus SG service centre honour the warranty for a US-purchased product?

2) Any compatibility issues for the power plug?

use ebates for 3.5% cashback at microsoft store... though not sure if it works it redirects to microsoft uk site and you have to change country to us

the i7 model looks good and fits my needs since i'm comparing between getting that and the macbook pro so the increase in SSD size definitely is a big plus. anyone has got it yet and any comments about it?
