I am using 7002 (in middle of the living room). My wireless connection will very weak when I am in the master room (6M away from 7002) without the door closed. Please advise, if I request Singtel to change to 7003 will help the wireless connection? Thanks in advance.

no i doubt wireless coverage will improve since the only difference is wireless ac on 7003.

you might want to explore on changing the position or location of the router so that you will have a better coverage. a higher position of the router helps..

anyone got a problem with connecting the nas to the 7002 or 7003 router? i face disconnection very often and when i restart the router/ont, i have to first unplug the NAS if not the miotv wont be working. i have disabled QOS and ipv6 DHCP server so as to make the NAS work.

can i call aztech to solve this issue? getting really irritated and singtel cant seem to solve it despite sending their tech team down a few times previously. the tech team is the one who suggest to me to disconnect the NAS first when restarting the router

this router doesn't allow for QoS MAC address filtering to allow certain devices to not hog bandwidth? Am experiencing issue with my Chromecast, which results in the others experiencing dropped connections from time to time.

Calls to Singtel's techncal hotdesk yielded nothing..

Any solutions other than getting a better router?

Currently on 300mbps plan and miotv with the 7002 router.

Considering to upgrade this 7002 to a ac router. Anyone replace their 7002 with 7003 successfully?

Call singtel and the cso told me to get a 3rd party ac router instead. Is there any 3rd party router that is able to link the miotv service?

asus, netgear, aztech are some common routers offering miotv presets. pls do a google search before asking which model. :D

I received a 7003 as part of 6 months free trial internet. Performance still lose to my ASUS ac66u.

My IP cameras responded faster over ASUS internally than 7003 when I click on a button to move the cam left or right.

Still doing other tests on the AC portion of download n how well it response to 4 IP cameras in its network.

7002 have problem with up to 2 IP cameras over wireless, router will reboot very often.

Go to router admin page and enable Samba server. If you don't know how to do it, check up post #52 in this thread. But instead of looking for Device Status, look up Samba Server under Advance Setting.

Hi all,

I noticed that the Aztech 7002 does not have the DDNS function on the router settings page. Any one knows a way to get around this problem?

I need the DDNS function to make sure that the external IP is updated automatically when the modem router's external IP is updated.

Strange la. They should have tested the Tv too. Just need to call 1688 and ask them to refresh your line and it should be ok. Otherwise request to replace the set top box.

I thought sld b connecting to the Aztech router. Instead they tell me to use back the white small modem. Btw, the router they gave was FG7003GR(AC)
