I used Cardup to pay my income tax. I used Scb Manhattan card.

Before I paid I read Manhattan terms and conditions and Cardup is not excluded.

I was supposed to get my cash rebate credited yesterday but nothing received as of this morning.

I have wrote in to Scb to check.

Do u familiar to Manhattan rebate ? If transaction is qualify for rebate, the statement will stated the rebate amount and when it will be Credited into your Manhattan card.
Rebate will be credited in quarterly basis.
Do u mean it is your quarterly statement month but no rebate?

My last rebate was credited on 8th February 2018. My cycle date is 8th every month, Feb May Aug Nov.

The Cardup transactions were made in April 2018.

Your Apr cardup transaction is posted in your Apr or May statement? If it is in your May statement, which the rebate will be credited in Aug statement, right?
Do u see rebate in the "cashback earn this month" column in the statement or Apr or May?

Errr, if you made the cardup transactions in Apr 2018, then they should appear in your May card transactions and count towards that quarter's cashback, which in your case should be May, Jun and Jul. You should only see the cashback in Aug?

Anyways, do let us know abt SC's reply coz afaik, SC does not exclude cardup. Thanks!

Let the insurance know that you would like to pay via credit card and not the GIRO.

There should be a form for you to fill up to change the payment method.

You can cancel the Giro assignments on your ibanking. That should suffice.

If you've made payment via other means, GIRO will not be effected. So you can still continue your GIRO arrangement, no need to cancel.

Update on knowledge management here.

Cards that accept CardUp for 5% cash rebate
UOB One Card (capped at $2000 per month), BOC Family Card (capped at $600 per month)

Insurers that allow partial pre-payment of premiums
Great Eastern
AIA
Prudential
Aviva

So that means, if your premiums of $6000 is due in September, you can pay $2000 in June, $2000 in July, and $2000 in August, and the insurer accepts it.

Minimum CardUp Fee

$3.40, that means minimum payment of $130 per transaction is required to make your payment worth it.

For MINDEF AVIVA GTL

Choose "Health Insurance" Category, and under the "Policy Number", you put in your NRIC. Then take a screenshot and email them after you have make a payment.
