Which insurer is this? Can do pre-payment of your premiums (i.e. if your annual premium is $6k, you can split up into 3 months of $2k each) so at least you still get some cashback that quarter. This needs careful planning of course.

i have axa, aviva and ge. checked with the respective advisors and all said can't do this

Hi All,

Doesn't makes much sense at the point.
Have to go through a 3rd party merchant.

For Prudential Insurance - I can pay directly to my UOB one card.
Why do I need to go through Cardup?

Scenario 1:
1) I spend only $480 a month.
2) I pay Aviva 23 a month but currently not allowed.
3) Instead I used cardup to pay Aviva insurance which is $0.5 fee

So from the $503 spend, I pay 0.5 Fee only.

That will make more sense.

In that case, I will get $49.5 rebate month.

Prudential and UOB has a tie-up (e.g. Prudential is the main insurance provider for UOB) - hence if you are paying for Prudential, you don't need cardUp.

Every other insurer, it's better to go through Card-Up

Can pay prudential using cards from a few banks, setup via pruaccess. Don't think tieup matters here,.

Prudential Insurance Premiums can get 5% cashback if you use UOB One Card to pay.

Not exactly sure if you use SCB Manhattan Card or Maybank Platinum Visa or BOC Family Card, you can still get the (3.33%-5) cashback.

Yea, they dun allow to pay on behalf. Just create a new cardup account for him n remember to use your referral code. Both yourself n your husband will get discounts off the cardup fee :s13:
