has anyone successfully used Cardup to pay off their house renov before?

emailed Cardup on payments to renovation/interior designers and firms and their reply:

Thank you for your payment suggestion.

We’d love to be able to support your payment but unfortunately, we are not able to process payments for renovation/interior design companies at the moment due to certain due diligence procedures we need to carry out on the recipient of the funds.

If this does change in the future, we will certainly be updating our users and let you know!

Thank you for your kind understanding.

Many thanks,
Jess | The CardUp Team

emailed ipaymy the same query, and their reply:

Thank you for contacting us.
You can make payments using any credit card you have via other payment section if your recipient has valid UEN, currency is SGD, Singapore Bank Name and Bank Account. Please follow the steps to make payment.

Invoice Payment

1. Enter Invoice Details
Other Payments History > Make Other Payments > Enter Recipients Details > Select Card > Next
2. Pay Invoice
Confirm & Proceed > Select Pay Now > Pay

Feel free to contact us if you have any questions. Thank you.

Best,
ipaymy Team

Confirmed HSBC cannot use Cardup to earn rebates/rewards. Tried before & asked CSO, they said its a payment service provider so does not qualify.
So far, its only UOB, BOC, SCB to be worthwhile...not sure about OCBC & CIMB.
DBS & HSBC confirmed no.

How about Citi?

All the best,
www.hardwarezone.com.sg

ADMIN which part is infraction?

Citi premiermiles(PM) is infraction?

I would expect the admin to do a check before imposing fines.

Even a judge needs to have a hearing before passing judgment...I did not know admin here is bigger and better than judges

You mean the recipient account and address? It is preset already, unless you know that the recipient account is different from the preset data and inform cardup to change it, we just use the preset.

If you read the T&C, you will know that you are not allowed to do that.

Yeah cannot installment with cardup but you can apply for giro so you can pay by installment, THEN pay monthly by cardup. As long as your payment reaches IRAS about 1 week before they deduct, there will be no giro deduction

Hello, can I check if it is possible to make partial payment of the tax by Cardup and the Giro picks up the balance of the monthly installment?

Update on knowledge management here.

Cards that accept CardUp for 5% cash rebate
UOB One Card (capped at $2000 per month), BOC Family Card (capped at $600 per month)

Insurers that allow partial pre-payment of premiums
Great Eastern
AIA
Prudential
Aviva

So that means, if your premiums of $6000 is due in September, you can pay $2000 in June, $2000 in July, and $2000 in August, and the insurer accepts it.

Minimum CardUp Fee

$3.40, that means minimum payment of $130 per transaction is required to make your payment worth it.

For MINDEF AVIVA GTL

Choose "Health Insurance" Category, and under the "Policy Number", you put in your NRIC. Then take a screenshot and email them after you have make a payment.

Bump up on this.
