Good price but must spend a few dollars for heatsink. Throttles easily under high temperature.
That will be expected. But this SSD could just used for light to normal use.
Once the SLC cache is finish, the write speed just so low :vijayadmin:

Noob question here....haven been in touch with PC for 10+ years.

If my mobo 2 x M.2 PCI-e slot:

I cannot use 2 x M.2 Sata SSD?
I tried the slot works with 1 x M.2 Sata SSD.

Cos i heard if i want to use both the slots, both the SSDs must be those M.2 NVME drives?

What is the motherboard model?
Usually it is only 1 nvme + 1nvme/sata.

On top of this, usually for budget mobos, the last m.2 slot is shared with the last 2 sata ports. So if you use the 2nd m.2 slot, you cant use the last 2 sata ports. Refer back to your manual as it will state what configuration is allowed.

If the NVMe is bigger or the same size of your current C drive you can run software to image your drive. I ordered the Sabrent 2TB NVMe and it comes with Acronis True Image so I will use that. There are free versions of cloning software out there where you simply load up the new drive in your existing system -> install some software -> tell it to replicate your boot disk to the new drive.

Reboot -> go to your BIOS -> change boot order to the new drive -> Job DONE!

wow...why shopee no such offer

Local prices wun go anywhere near the low prices amazon offers
Ssd if able to wait for shipping then just get from amazon.
Dun need to wait and camp for those shopee or lazada coupons which usually will be gone in less than 5 mins, which might still be more expensive than if u get from amazon

Just take note when u buy, make sure its fulfilled by amazon US or amazon sg and not some weird seller names.

clone no good?

Always better to start afresh. While SSD don't slow down significantly like a mechanical hard drive do over time, the amount of things installed on your system will eventually cause conflicts/ issues over time.

If you have just recently reinstalled Windows, then of course no point reinstalling for the sake of using a new SSD. But if you have not reformat for years, it is still a good practice to clean install your OS and start anew.

Actually if you get from Amazon SG, and not those international Amazon US products, you can get it next day. The shipping is significantly faster than what you can find with our e-tailers. I ordered a drive yesterday and its arriving today.
