I thought of getting the WD blue for $128 then now this has appeared

https://www.amazon.sg/gp/product/B07M64QXMN/

WD BLACK SN750 NVMe SSD, New Generation, 1TB S$156.66

WD black is latest generation compared to WD blue but can we feel the performance under normal usage like gaming etc? Is it worth extra $28?

Nope. You won't see a difference in gaming.

I actually purchased it a few days ago at 185$, talk to Amazon CSO and managed to get a price difference refund. Amazon is awesome

Blue got no DRAM eh, so it will do poorer in writes, reads no diff.

So where is the advantage for getting the WD black over the blue?

EVO plus is still a faster drive in real world situations ;)

Lol. Your rationale has condemned all 4.0. Evo beat a few Gen 4.0 doesn't conclude other 4.0 is subpar.:s22:

I hoot already.. The price is too good... 🤣 🤣 🤣... Sls selling $600+...

How does overseas rma work? N usually, how much is the shipping?

Will use my current wd sn750 1tb to the back of my motherboard . Bought thermal grizzly m.2 heatsink too. My case nr200 back cutout quite big. Should be able to put slim heatsink on it

I hooted... no regrets.... for that price... Just looked at what SLS price... 100%

WD SN750 1tb @ 156 + 7 (2tb is 700++)

or

EVO Plus 2tb @ 337 + 7

Warranty?

Tell yourself:

Do you need more storage or need local warranty?

EVO Plus 2TB is SGD 600++ in SLS ouch compared to Amazon crazy prices....

You can get free delivery by signing up for free 1 month Amazon Prime trial at amazon.sg for new users and S$2.99 for existing users.

Local sad prices will take at least 2 to 3 years for the prices to be more 'realistic'
