The good thing about WD is that the manufacturing date and warranty details are printed directly on the NVMe. From what I have heard WD locally also take in RMA so this is one of the selling points as to why this NVMe is so popular. I personally have bought many of these and have not encountered any issue.

WD and Seagate have international warranty, and these two have rma center in Singapore. Good brand to buy. My almost 10 year old WD black HDD is still working beautifully. Will always buy WD given the choice

This is provided by all items sold directly by Amazon and those that are sold by 3rd parties but endorsed by Amazon. The item you were trying to purchase most likely did not fall into these categories.

Last point - prime only works if your ordering from amazon.sg and not amazon.com

Silicon Power UD70 2TB QLC - $259 (Amazon US)
Sabrent Rocket Q 2TB QLC - $281. (Amazon SG)
Samsung 970 Evo plus 2TB TLC - $375.88 (Amazon US)
HP EX950 2TB TLC - $345 (Lazada - local SG set)

Which to get? Worth to go pay more for TLC?

If you are looking at 970 Evo Plus, order from Amazon.com. Cheaper by about $30.

Ezbuy? With shipping insurance, should only be about $12 assuming the package weighs under 500g.

You mean EzBuy's EzShip? I don't know how to use such. :s13:
Wonder if should get this or the cheaper $450 Gen 4 Rocket instead.

I would say the new version... but the price is still a little high... hoping to see more reviews on it vs SN850 vs 980 Pro....

But Micron coming out with 176 layers to saturate pcie 4 speed? Will Sabrent and other brands be releasing faster than rocket 4 plus?
Pcie 5 expected in 2022 with DDR5 right?

Just assume comes with none. Want local warranty either buy WD or pay more locally.

I asked Sabrent before. They only handle US cases at the moment. If you are outside of US, you need to ship it back.

I mean somewhere in 2022, PCIe 5 DDR5 USB4 might be released. So Micron 176 layers NAND should hit shores before 2022? Speed might improve by 25%, meaning we are looking at almost 10k mbps in the year 2021?:s12:

Would pay someone to help me ship it safely lol.

Yes haha, not difficult. Create an account, obtain the US address, purchase your item, create a delivery notice with the tracking number and such.
