Can someone advise me on the quality of the Novo 7 screen?
Got this from TabletRepublic ...
Quote.. "Even better news, we have been advised by Ainol that they will be releasing an official firmware update with android market soon after the 25th Oct. Looking forward to that as we should be highly stocked up on Novo 7's by then"

Installed myself..bro did u have to install yourself or the tablet came in 1.6 firmware?
Good price. More worthwhile than merimobiles & the other user who ordered his from Malaysia at 550 ringgitJust bought the novo7 advanced 8gb today at SLS, 4th floor shop in front of the escalator.. got it at $199
screen quality isn't fantastic and this is the first time using an android for me so i'm pretty damn lost. don't know if it's me but the touchscreen isn't as sensitive or 'precise' as the ipad.
then again, for $199 i guess i shouldn't ask for too much!
off to install the 1.6 firmware and to google how to start installing apps!

Good for you, bad for me![]()

And to think that he is banging away on his Novo 7 while we are still waiting!![]()

Can't win all
From what was reviewed, I already won by not getting wopad i7. Don't get me wrong wopad i7 is good, but novo 7 is better
Now just wish someone comes out faster with a nicely priced reliable 9.7"/10" IPS screen A10 tablet![]()

Wah. Cheap leh. That day one of them quote $239. Think different floor. Hope the wrty is honourable.
Cheers
i hope so too, tho they mentioned warranty is only 3 months.
having played with it for a few hours, one of the main gripes is the buttons (menu, home etc) on the side that arent responsive as i'd like them to be. response is also slightly slow as compared to the ipad when typing..
i wonder if anything can be done. hmm.
