mine shouldnt be the 1st batch, all ordered between end nov to end dec.

u can have your own views on certain brand, not a problem to me at all. but just try to pass fair comment when comes to certain aspect. if dead pixels only found in momo11 and not other ips tablets, then your comment will be fair.

What I said is I have dead pixels and that it's within my expectation of Ployer. And that's a problem:s11::s13: That's exactly my own views and my expectation of Ployer:s8: I really don't get how's that unfair...

So maybe u want me to write this just for u.

"I have dead pixels and i expect this from Ployer, xxx, yyy, zzz tablets. BUT this can also happen from aaa, bbb, ccc. Cause it could be due to me being unlucky and the reviews I'd read regarding Momo11 having dead pixels shouldn't matter or contribute to my expectations" OK I can't believed I typed out something that retard:s13:

Thks. What about the ramos W13hd?

W13HD is new Amlogic M3 right? I recalled I mentioned somewhere that the chipset needs to proved itself against Allwinner A10 & RK2918.

The last I read W6HD using the same chipset still have issues, something about dead screen. It's on IMP3 shouldn't be hard to find;)

Actually I don't:s13: I failed to understand what's unfair in that particular comment. It was my views and expectations, which was not out of thin air baseless.:s8:

Edit: Not here to review to make any particular retailer, brand or fan boy happy.

Are there any 8-9 inchers to be looking out for? 7 inch seems to be pretty small while 10" seems abit too big as well.

Just saw the Onda Vi30, not too bad as a 8", but specs are still lacking. Thanks!

Yea, came across your post just now as well. Bmorn seems to have an issue with firmwares though. Then the Vi30 seems to be stuck with 512mb ram and Gingerbread.

So the morale of the story, wait for something decent to come out. U seems to have a list of tablets liao, wait for RK30xx bah. If lucky MAYBE mid feb can see something:D

Hm.. Now I'm seriously interested in the Vi40

Merimobiles is selling Onda Vi40 at $209.99. It's about S$280 total
If i go through sgshop, it'll be about S$260 total
Ordering from Merimobiles seems to be less hassle. The $20 diff seems quite worth it.

Anyone order from Merimobiles before? are they good?

I calculate total cost. Because when you pay using credit card, there should be additional 2-3% charges when converting usd to sgd

ok. if Fedex is only ard $20 more, than i think it's a better choice than regular mail

I was trying to buy the Novo 7 Aurora yesterday. It's an extra US$25 for DHL. Which I find it's worth it.

If your package gets lost by Hong Kong Post (or Singpost, judging by the negative comments on EDMW), I don't think there is any recourse for you.

ok. what i do is just use a higher exchange rate - for eg 1.3.

i was initially looking for an 8" tablet but the 8" Ramos W13HD is actually US$50 more ex than the 10" VI40 so i may have to reconsider

Collected my momo11. My battery seems defective...It can go up to 98% then drop to 23% suddenly then forever charge at 67%...

I am unable to access google.com and yahoo.com but can connect to facebook and bing.com. I suspect its a virus as various programs like QQ have already been installed before i even use it. Can someone enlighten?

And Seasoncrystal, how do i fix the ram issue? Or is it already fixed? I cant even find the ram specs.

Since u r looking at the Onda, u may be interested in the following comparison:

The Cube seems to come out ahead for the 16gb ram, screen and battery but doesnt have hdmi out and costs US$50 more
