I have Simba senior plan @ $5..
I also ported my CL line to Singtel Heya, now renamed Singtel Hi. It's as you wrote, local data plus roaming at MIT.
So for $10, I feel like some big shot with 2 phone numbers.
Truth be told I am unable to use up all those GB on both lines. It's just a marketing gimmick to poach customers. Even if a Telco gives me a million GB, what difference would it make when I usually use about 10 GB of data every month. But the roaming offered by Simba and Hi are too good to pass up...

CL doesn't even have roaming which Simba has.
Happy for you then. Team green and orange (soon to be purple maybe) for you would be a better choice.IMHO.
Singtel 4G has been under performing in my usual area.

Not true.
They have Roam Start / Roam Free / Roam Max / Roam Ultra.
Depends on which plan you subscribe to.

I am comparing like with like
Simba $5 plan for seniors has roaming.
CL $5 plan for seniors does not have roaming.
If you are a retiree who goes to JB once or twice a week, you would appreciate being at least able to Whatsapp.

If roaming, yes then Simba.
If local, CL is very much better choice.
With all the bad press on CL, to be fair their prices are still good if itchy fingers are kept away from app.
And i just recalled that their esim can reinstall 10x without charges. Not unlimited but user friendly enough.

Simba is no good for local usage but good for overseas
Which CL is good for local but not as good for overseas compared to Simba.

Nah, was referring to my personal experience, locally cannot make it.
i signed up for the $6 1gb 5G plan around 20+th Jan
initially the app shows my initial bill as $8+
i do not understand the bill, specifically why i was charged the same "circlesai unlimited" $5 four times
contacted customer service via app but they just dismiss it and tell me to wait for the finalized bill
when the finalized bill come, it ballooned to $37.55 and upcoming bill as $21/month
the problem is charging the same "circlesai unlimited" $5 four times each month

placed on a auto responder that sends me the attached message very other day
probably not going to get any resolution
not recommended to get involved with them if you dun want to end up paying $21 or actually use way less than 1Tb
