Bro, ur teacher is rich! Clementi seems to have untapped potential judging from the responses garnered so far. Clavon could also be one of the last piece of land bid under $800psf, future land bids should be trending north of $800psf given that EC sites are already stabilizing at $5xxpsf.

And just a little history, Clavon plot is where my grandparent’s bought their first HDB. Block 403 to be exact, A 3-Room for only $20k.
That’s where my Mum grew up in the 80s, where my uncle’s Jubilee primary school was just opp the AYE, the school building still stands. AYE used to be a forest.
The place where my parents first met under one of the HDB block during a wedding ceremony.
The place where my parents got married too.

It holds lotsa memories and now 2 high rise tower will stand in replace. Clementi has undergone vast redevelopment over the years.

Not entirely true bro, many ppl would grab this 20% chance and perhaps increase their chances thru those volunteerism schemes in the school. It’s like a BTO ballot, a 20% chance is better than none.

Not only that, many parents go in by appeal to school based on staying within 1km. Still cannot, appeal to MP.

There are many ways to improve your chance.

i agree with both - the voluneering and appeal (if successful, likely from P.2 onwards?), but if oversubscribed by 500%....i am sure everyone will be doing all these so in the end....see who got connection lor.

For my case (next year registeration), i have one school oversubscribed by 300%. I am within 1km but i will opt for another school, dont want leave it to chance.

Condos within 1km to Nan Hua will still get a premium even if your kids don't get in. Maybe the next buyer's kids can get in?

Yeah this is not unique to Nanhua though, applies for all popular primary schools, so u see Parc Clematis having a premium over Clavon.

I personally dont think prox to Nanhua commands that much a premium given the distance doesn’t really help much in the grand scheme of things. Alumni still most powerful
