I'll give up my chance, even I got quite a good ballot number. The Feng Sui for clementi ridge is not good for most of the people. If u believe Feng Sui, u may want look into this too.

I'm not trying to get other to give up.
If u believe Feng shui. U may want to look into this as consideration. The price for tis BTO is not cheap, must make sure u get the right flat,right facing for ur zodiac

Ya..nt enough..cos we only started working for abt a year..so 5% plus stamp fees ard 38k le..we only have ard 20+ now..4 more mths down the road n including the 2000 we pay today...we might still need 5-8k

not many ppl choose 191 because its directly beside the expressway ba..
2ndly, its beside the rubbish chute,
3rdly, the "L" shape formed by the rubbish chute and unit 191 might constitute to a large surface which might reflect the sound of the traffic up and causing it to be unbearable.

I m interested in the fengshui of clementi ridges too!! Any reviews of the whole area?(Althought I wont back off now..hahhaha)

i dint choose 165 because like what some people speculate, I am afraid that blk 316 might be enbloc next time and this might totally block of my view if they use that piece of land for high rise developments...

Hello!

We have just chosen our unit yest.

4room.

After doing tons of research, we thinks that 175 is the best.

It is facing north south postion, (Zuo bei xiang nan) Chinese believes that its auspicious. No west sun. 175 is the only unit that is almost free from the west sun. It will be windy, thanks to the north east wind(Read it in one of the website). It is furthest away from the mrt and highway. So we avoid the noise pollution. Below there is park. infront of us is the greenery view of bukit timah hill.

Negative part is , the layout of the unit isnt good. The bomb shelter is in the living room. Once you enter the unit. So it maybe harder to position your furnitures and maximise spaces. The service yard is facing our dbss neighbour.

However, i am willing to compromise my layout, as i do not wan to have my master bedroom directly facing the west sun and highway.
We can adjust out furnitures and style to fit into the layout. However, we cannot change the fact that the west sun is there and the noise of the highway.

I am glad that i managed to choose an auspicious mid floor unit number. And did not last minute change decision. We spent like 1 plus hour in the room. Discussing and calculating the figures.

Did not take the floor tiles and doors, as they r too plain. Not worth the money. Rather do something that we like. =)

the sea view is really nice, I went up to the hdb above clementi mall to get a proxy view..but I'm worried that they will build high rise flats above the temp bus interchange area..if you see URA's 2008 master plan the plot ratio there is 4.5 if I'm not wrong..which means the view could potentially be obstructed by the condo beside nan hua, clementi mall hdb and this potential interchange one too..but that will take a while la..

Hi, 175 is also my top choice
I thought it is ZuoNanXiangBei? No? based on main door, not windows?
The NE wind is actually a negative point for me, anyway hope the strong wind it is bearable.
Also, I prefer this layout than the 185/191 type. I find the longer corridor a waste of space
How is yard facing DBSS a negative point?
Actually, most levels of 185 have the 195 to block the west sun, and tilted at that angle, I think west sun is not really a concern.

The temp bus interchange area already reserved to build 3 blocks of 28th to 40th storey HDB for SERS residents. Will be completed by 2016.

wow, thanks for the info. I realised that SERS developments tend to get the best plots of land..
