Small $150 fine do not send the right message to cyclists. Smoking fine is already $500 .

SG lawmakers should have some sense of proportion.

Beat red light fine is only 400 and more dangerous to everyone.

I think the best outcome is to let the cyclist run amok, and let them exercise their god given right to hold up traffic during peak hours.

The more people are affected, the better. And then we shall see how the general public come down on them.

So by all means, cycle in a huge peloton. Cycle 2 abreast during peak hours. Hold up one lane of traffic because cyclists can. Do it as often and as dramatically as you can.

Most of the people I know and my group are good cyclists.

Work for kids and slower cyclists (under 25km/h).

It's not about the speed. Like that only sports car or cars that goes 200km/h are entitled to use the road? Pedestrians are already using the road, jaywalkers and people who uses the crossings.

I think cyclists who are caught should be forced to wear multiple layers of spandex shorts for one day, since they love it so much.

If 25 cyclists are caught, they each wear 25 layers of spandex shorts for one day, wear until their voices also become high pitched, and their KKJ become KFC.

i think when you say you drive, high chance I think u r just one of those who drives a bluesg.

You seemed to have something against people who owns car from all your previous statements.

If I'm right about you not owning a car and just wanting to act like you own one and drive, you go eat ****.

Don't act like you are being fair. You are just a self entitled and jelly guy who can't afford a car.

But if I'm wrong about you, then all I have to say I, I still hope you ride safe and stay accident free. People driving bluesg rental cars tend to get into accidents.. just not always reported..

I have to say majority of driver really have nothing against cyclist on the road with real purpose; for work, commute. It's really people cycling for hobby and having that self entitled thinking that we hate.

I hope government mandate these cyclist group to ride only in bus lane.. I'd enjoy seeing how bus driver and passengers come to scold and whack these fckers

See I'm right? You don't act righteous and act as if u share the pain of drivers... you dont understand the pain for people who drive everyday for work, for genuine purpose and yet have to face these pest on the road

I ride my bicycle too, but alone. Those riding in big group are really a pest to drivers. Because they think they r the king of the road and everyone must give way to them.
