makita or bosch?
bosch have many versions le. confusedMakita and Bosch Professional (blue) about same quality. You choose one and stick with that brand for all your power tools.
Forget about Bosch consumer version (green). That one is quite cost effective, but is nowhere near as well made.
targeting 18V drill and drivermakita is expensive bosch if u go those warehouse can get dirt cheap
get the rotary one not those weak ass 12v drill
18 usually refers to 18V system. The GSB/GSR refers to type. GSB is driver/drill/hammer. GSR us driver and drill only. The chuck size may also be bigger on the GSB (13 vs 10mm)bosch have many versions le. confused
GSB185
GSB120
GSR185
LI version? good torque enough for wall drilling ?bosch blue GSB120.. tis wat i use for my home

i agree with you. the battery is expensiveI must say a chuck hammer is quite pointless. Get a SDS hammer bare tool only if you plan on masonry/brick/concrete drilling often. The expensive part is the battery system. The bare tool is usually quite cheap
12V system is considered small. Use for furniture and sheet metal. Not enough power to handle heavier jobs. The battery can be hacked to work with dremel, so that is a plus. I have one unit which is my go-to for light jobs.LI version? good torque enough for wall drilling ?
Ingco is actually very decent for the price and tool range. it is presented as a cheaper alternative for jobbers. Full range at Horme.Makitaaaaa...
Or go cheapo. Dong cheng.

GSR18 has no hammer function. You may need the hammer for masonry work.for home drill 18V GSR alone enough?
