If I did not use OA for property, I probably would also have this amount at 44. So yes agree that if he already paid off property then v strong

As I'm a little bored after weeks of working from home, I check out my CPF balance and it looks quite decent.

With some basic calculations, to hit $700k+ of CPF at the age of 44, the most straight forward is to refrain from using OA to buy properties.

However, I have used about $200k from my OA with accrued interest to buy a property about 10 years ago, so I can never hit that figure.

This is the first time I have seen such a deep recession in Singapore that is going to be over a prolonged period, so it is comforting to look at my coffin money and hospitalisation insurance plans in this period.

Used up my stocks quota in CPF-OA to purchase CapitaMall Trust at $1.75 to keep. I presume it can earn more than 2.5% annually.

Isn't looking at Cpf balance every Sinkie's favourite pastime?

Sorry a noob qns, once I bought shares using my CPFIS, how is the deduction process like?
Do I need to do anything on my end or the agent bank will liaise with the brokerage firm I bought my shares with?

its the end of the month, must remember to login to CPF to do my $1k monthly DCA to repay my housing. I treat CPF as long-term bond investment :s13:

My SA is about 78% of current ERS. Hope to cross 80% by year end.
