RealTek media became a more common sound chip in onboard audio and better BUS designs no longer hog up the data transfers and allow audio to be good for onboard.

Just like 5090, with that much high powered details, who pays attention actually? Same goes for audio, unless you're listening to concert etc... which no audiophile will use a SB card... who'd buy le...?

Kinda dwarf by Apple since last time they are competing directly with them. Remember the MP3 player, iPod, while Apple produced the best, they produced Value for money products.

Replaced all the senior mgmt and middle managers with foreigners especially AMDK and Taiwanese/Chinese.
only these 2.5 nationality can help a company grow .

Around 280 staff left, how Creative going to survive? It will take a lot more creative to survive under competition. Very surprise that the global staff count is such low. To be honest, I really like their products. I remember I use to own the Creative Nomad Jukebox, just that it become Junkbox as it is no longer working.

Not to mention super giants like Huawei and Xiaomi, which are building entire audio entertainment ecosystems—from TVs to EV cars! There is no way Creative can survive in its current form. The only way forward is to merge into China giant's ecosystem, such as becoming a sound system provider for Huawei EV cars.

Even b4 he passed the company like floundering for many many years? The last time I heard of anyone buying Creative soundcards was like b4 Windows 95 launched? After dat most people juz use the integrated sound chips on the motherboard liao. So who ish buying their stuff?

There used to be a Creative shop at Marina Square level 2 near Kenny Rogers there. Even then when walk pass like bo lang insai wan. Wonder if same fate will befall Yamaha electronics shop.

quite missed their old products...

I had the other one. Gigaworks something or maybe this..also 7.1. $300+ during one of the fair at their office. It was good. Watch war movie, can hear the helicopter fly from behind to the front. Too bad can't watch jap documentary.

After that sold for $400+.
