Not sure if this was stated before but is the interest calculated based on end day available or total balance? Didn’t manage to find this info in the FAQ or terms.

https://www.dbs.com.sg/iwov-resources/pdf/deposits/multiplier-programme/faq-dbs-multiplier.pdf
Pg 4.

Q2) How is the interest calculated?
The interest is calculated daily.
1. The preferential interest rate is applied to the end-day SGD balance in your DBS Multiplier Account.
2. Interest earned for each balance tier is calculated and rounded off to the nearest 4 decimal places.
3. Each day’s interest earned is summed up and rounded off to the nearest 2 decimal places.
4. The entire month’s interest is then summed up.

It doesn’t mention it’s for available or total balance. Could have pending investment funds, etc.

suggest writing to dbs to get a B&W if you want to hold them responsible for any misinformation.
You are missing the point. I’m just enquiring if it’s for total or available balance, not holding them responsible for any misinformation or unclear information. And the faq doesn’t state it like i mentioned earlier.

it should be based on available. but if you want confirmation need to get B&W from dbs.

cause example if say there is a cheque to be cleared. it will be reflected under total balance, but not available.

hence no funds is available so no interest should be due...

Their Bank & Earn display has been erratic for a few months already. I have learn to ensure my part is done and not to be too bothered by their (lack of) updates....
Similar. Few mths back they updated the wrong graph bar (E.g. credit card spend as salary updated, etc) so I didn't bother just as long I completed the task and if something really didn't credit, call and dispute.

Ended up no issues with the actual crediting of the cashback.

It’s been quite a while since they had this missing insurance tracking issue for B&E at the start of the month

I use both DBS and SCB mobile app for 2nd factor OTP. Found SCB one load faster and authenticate faster.... DBS felt "bloated" and took longer for the authentication screen to pop up....

I dont like the dbs app at all.( i use ocbc, scb as well).

It's super jerky. E.g if i scroll down and wanna click on one of my accounts, the screen jerks up and i click on the wrong account.

I have so many bank accounts. DBS is definitely the worse. So laggy. Takes forever to generate OTP. Many times I give up and ask to generate manually and then ask for SMS OTP. Even the SMS takes like 20 seconds to receive, not instant.

Time of the year to stop and current RSP and start a new one.
Last time RSP only got 4 UTs to choose from. Now it seems that ETF RSP are also counted. And it seems it has a long list of UT/ETF to choose from..

Or need to filter the list with 'ETF' first then can purchase? If so, there are still only 4 items..
Long time haven't done this.. forgot how to do liao..

I mean, I remember there are only 4 UT/ETF to choose from. But today I saw the list is quite long if just filtered by 'Cash'. So I thought can choose from the long list. One of the DBS agents told me before that there are more than 4 to choose from in order to fulfill multiplier requirement as well.
But after filtered by 'ETF', still only have 4 items.
