He referring to online in foreign currency. Querying if he should be getting x2 points bonus on top of x9 point bonus

Ic. From my several months of online foreign currency transaction, 9x bonus is the Max. They don't stack. Which brings you 4miles per dollar spent.

Yup. Sorted out the misunderstanding in pm. Those foreign online spend in excess of $2000 online spend get 2x bonus points only (don't get 9x bonus points).

If you're only getting 2X for foreign online spend, that's just 0.8 miles. You're much better off using another card such as the UOB visa signature card to get 4 miles. ( subject to min spend of S$1k for that stmt cycle. )

Yup, that's true. I initially thought it's 2x on top of 9x.

I think dbs will send a letter to your address once successful.

how long is your experience? some my miles will expired on Sep 16 (i check from rewards online). If it stated expired Sep 16, does it mean miles will be gone on 1 Sep 16 or after Sep 16 (Oct)

You can check on the "printed" statement. Mine is stated 30 Sep 2016.

When registering for the progamme, you can also put in how many points you want to convert. So they will do the conversion at the same time as the registration. And it is quite fast, less than a week IME.
