depends on mindset. the way we men love and the way women love very different. Unless you are top 5% aka Chad, mostly likely, her so called ‘love’ for you is transactional. Hard to believe but once you’ve seen this, you can’t unsee it.

either that or less and less want to marry. In china, the speed dating events alone, men to women attendance ratio is 1:35 to 1:50 lol. Give men free to attend while women need to pay to attend also very few keen to go. Those eligible ones no need to go to such events. Those deemed as ineligible even if go already also waiting to get humiliated. The rest can't be bothered to be interviewed to be atm. Cos women want marriage to improve their life. charboh cheat, men at fault. men cheat, still men's fault. bobian, got testosterone is like that one. only long lasting marriage is rich ask guy marriage to commoner charboh or equally high ses one. so charboh look for high ses guys is a clever move. only low ses guys cheat, esp when they have $$$ later in life.

Guess we can argue that women are crucial for men to reproduce and pass on their genes. If you have children, it is to pay for the costs of ensuring your lineage survives. It doesn’t really matter what happens eventually between the couple.

If you include all those, it's likely way more than 50%. most marriages would eventually be sexless and leading their own lives. They just remain married cos they're old, used to living the life, feel no need to make a big change, fear of what's ahead after divorce.

why need to marry? i got HDB, i got income, if u want kid i will support, take care etc.... so why marry if you can just do all these already?

The only way in Singapore adultery will have an impact on asset split or custody is if the guilty party feels guilty and relinquishes all claims as “sign of guilt”. Unfortunately I hear from people that there is no sense of guilt among the adulterers and they will fight for “their share”.
