EDMWers seem to be on really bad terms with their relatives. But then again, some EDMWers hate just everyone else.

I look forward to CNY gathering with my relatives cos no one really ask those annoying questions. My cousins are also very nice people and we always have a good time catching up

Dread visiting wifey's siblings broken family that play acting like that they are a heypi family when the sister and ex hubby were officially divorced without their only daughter knowing but celebrate their new 2nd bto, under the former PRC sister who is a new citizen here.

Wonder how long can she keep up the facade and the BTO flat when enforcements take place to raid these fake marriage and divorce to game our system here.

OK lo. Treat it as a gathering. It is not so significant to us local born because we tend to catch up frequently. Those who often work abroad and away will find it more significant because they really want to come back to celebrate with family and relatives.

Maybe I put it bluntly.
For the old to experience some family warmth before they surrender their pink IC.
Should be ok for kids.
Teenagers are super bored.
